Royal Rangers is a Christian scouting program designed to minister to the needs of boys. It was started over 25 years ago by the Men's Ministries of the Assemblies of God. This program has since spread beyond just that one denomination to many churches in over 64 countries. The objective of Royal Rangers is to REACH, TEACH, and KEEP boys for Christ.
At the East Central Section Pow Wow, Outpost 44 won the "Sylvia Occhipinti" Bible Award in recognition of their Bible knowledge as a group.

There are many activities involved in the Ranger program. Camping, crafts, hiking, fishing, Bible study, games, model rockets, bowling are just a few.
Royal Rangers challenges boys to improve themselves and their Christian walk through a program of earning advancement awards. The boys love to wear these medals on their uniforms.

Bowling is just one of the many things
that Royal Rangers do.

| The Royal Ranger group at Cedar Run Church is Outpost 44. We are part of the New Jersey District. The outpost senior commander is Harry Sliker Sr. Commander Sliker, along with commanders John Fudalik, Skip Sliker Jr, Dean Adams, and Bruce Wood love to help the boys along the Ranger Advancement Trail. They also have a great burden for the souls of these boys. We have had many boys come to know Jesus as their savior through this fine Christ-centered program. Royal Rangers meetings are Thursdays at 6:30 pm. |
